We Love… Barry’s Bootcamp.

Like any workout with the word ‘Bootcamp’ in the name, at first glance, Barry’s seems to be pretty intimidating.  But if you book a class, you’ll see that while it’s challenging, it’s more fun than anything else.

If you’re new, here’s what to expect:

-Get there early to check-in and get a tour of the studio.

-You’ll either be starting on the floor or a treadmill, make sure you know which one you’re assigned to.

-Be sure to have water and grab a towel on your way into class.

-The room is lit by red light and the music is loud; it’s supposed to be like this.

-Get setup on your treadmill or the floor, the instructor will tell you what you need to do.

-The instructors speak quickly, try to pay attention as best you can and when in doubt, look to your neighbors for guidance.

-Before you know it, it will be time to switch from the treadmill to the floor or vice versa.  There are multiple rounds throughout the class, so don’t get comfortable.

-At the end, stay for a few minutes to stretch and catch your breath.
