We Love... SoulCycle
We love… SoulCycle.
So many people say they are afraid of what happens in the studio or that they think it’s a cult. We aren’t true believers and neither of us would say that SoulCycle changed our lives, but we do love it. It’s an awesome and challenging 45-minute workout that’s also fun and never boring.
If you’re new, here’s what to expect:
-Get there early to sign a waiver, get shoes and get setup on your bike. You will need water and lots of it.
-Expect the staff to be nice to you; tell them you’re new and they will pay extra attention to make sure they show you around and make you comfortable.
-When you get in the studio, it’s dark, it’s loud, it’s going to get hot - it’s supposed to be this way, don’t panic.
-When class starts, you will have no idea what’s going on. Think about dancing and keeping the beat, not spinning as fast as you can.
-Do not worry about looking silly; the room is dark and no one can see you.
-About two thirds of the way through class, there is an arms workout; the weights are under your seat.
-You will be drenched in sweat by the end. Feels. So. Good.
