What is trauma? It’s anything that causes your stress levels to rise. And there is small t trauma and big t trauma. Small t is when it could be break-ups, bullying, or a toxic boss. Big t trauma is usually associated with life threatening experiences. If you are someone who is regularly exposed to trauma of others like a social worker, a doctor, or another profession, you can also indirectly experience trauma by being a witness.

Trauma is stored in the body, specifically the muscles and the fascia. It’s not just the memories that you keep with you, but it stays within your body. If you don’t address the trauma, it can cause emotional dysfunction, depression, anxiety, and a huge wall in-between where our lives are and what we want to create in life.

There is plenty of awareness on positive thinking and visualizing to create what you want. But why does that not always work?

It may be because you have built up negative thought forms from trauma that there is no room for the positive. There is an old phrase that says you can’t paint over rust. If you do, the paint will very quickly be taken over by the rust. The way to succeed is to strip out the rust to the bare surface, then paint it. We work the same way. If you try to be happy or manifest on top of your wounds and trauma, the satisfaction might only be temporary. You have to dig deep and clean out your being to have a new foundation to build upon.

This workshop is about using your sensing and feeling skills to find what is making you unhappy and holding you back. We will introduce various tools and techniques to help you uncover and release your trauma as well as ways to continuously clear out trauma to reduce build-up.

This workshop is perfect for those who want to understand how to move past a specific trauma or for those who may feel like something is holding them back but cannot pinpoint what it may be. It will also be beneficial for those who are looking to expand their wellness toolkit to understand how to deal with past, present, and future stressors. This workshop is led by Dr. Robert Ciprian.
